Hi all, have a strange one with the stero.Since we've had the car the stereo/radio only works the first time you start the car. This is typically in the morning.

Once on, it will work perfectly, untill you turn the car off. The moment you do that and then restart, nothing. The screen works, so can see satnav, radio stations, however no sound. There is a tune air Bluetooth that's fitted and that works fine. Code reader doesn't seem to bring anything up.

Any one had any similar experience?

Thanks

May be a shot in the dark but try.
Is there an option to control the volume when the car is moving..? Try playing with that setting.

I'd be guessing (and it is a guess) that the HK amp is on its way out.
Not unknown unfortunately.

Do you know if they be repaired or would I need to replace?

Pretty much all the repaired ones (that we hear about on the forum) fail soon afterwards and the “warranty“ doesn’t cover the failure... :(

You mean just the volume knob? Or like a speed sensitive tyoe option?
