Introducing myself as new to the forum

Hi All

New to the forum, I've had my 2011 1.8 W204 C180 CGI for just over a year now in classic silver, she is a beauty in my eyes and my pride and joy.

I'm a qualified mechanic, but building up my hands on experience, it's my second Mercedes since I've started driving nearly 12yrs ago.

Need to do a bit more research into the Mercedes side of things as not really done a lot, not much else to say about me.

Sonic - behave - a 2011 212 is not old or vintage by any means...it is a fine and exceptionally capable motor car (a bit like a fine wine or George Clooney, all gracefully getting older), it's still quite modern and can hold its own on the road against most other new cars, it's just not the latest incarnation of the E-Class - but i would rather be in a 212 than most of the new junk on the road today...

I was using the term Vintage in respect of age, not that its a really old car. But you are correct its a great car, & I have owned it 8.5 years. Many more years to go yet.
