iPhone 3g, bluetooth & COMMAND

Hi,

I have an R320 with COMMAND and the bluetooth cradle. It worked great with my old Motorola RAZR 'phone but I don't get as much functionality with my iPhone 3G. I can connect the iPhone to COMMAND via bluetooth to make calls, but it doesn't download my phone book from the iPhone into COMMAND. This used to work perfectly well with the motorola 'phone...

Has anyone else out there had any more success with an iPhone 3G and COMMAND? Any tips or hints you can give to download the phone book from my iPhone into COMMAND?

Cheers,

Paul

There is a problem with V2 (and above) Apple S/W for the iphone range. The contact list download used to work fine with iphones on S/W version 1.1.4 but when V2 came out it stopped. the phones will still pair with the HFP cradle but they wont download the contact list which is a right pain as I use one myself.

The solution is to either wait for Apple to fix it (I have reported the bug) or use a Viseeo MBU-2000 instead which does work with iphone and iphone 3G.

Hi Paul
In the end I downgraded my old IPhone from V2 to 1.1.4 which is easy to do and now I have the Phone book working on my comand.

Best wishes

Tony

Thanks for the feedback folks. I'm not quite desperate enough to spring £220 for a new bluetooth device (yet...) and sadly I can't downdrade my iPhone 3G to software pre version 2.0 so I guess I just have to wait for Steve Jobs to fix the problem

Cheers,

Paul

Does anyone know the comparisions between the Viseoo solution which I believe is BlueTooth versus the genuine Mercedes Cradle?

I have a challenge with iPhone 3 battery life and would rather have a cradle to charge on the go but wanted to know if anyone has tried both or can sing the praises of the choice they made for iPhone 3G?

I have Mercedes Bluetooth already as the standard factory option and also the pre-wiring so I'm not sure if Viseoo has any advantages to the stuff I already have.
