Iphone 4 into a 3G cradle.

Hi,

I have an Iphone 4 and have been using it in the car over bluetooth.

This week I bought a 3G cradle and with very little modification found that I could fit the Iphone 4 into it.

My only point that I cannot get to work is the speed dial. My question is how do I select the numbers for the speed dial facility on my W203 C220 Cdi 2007 vintage.

The numbers in Favourites don't match the number keys on the dash.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the information, but.........

Thanks for the information, but according to Apple they dont store contacts on te SIM card, but the car is getting numbers from somewhere, seemingly at random as they don't seem repeatable.

Should I find an adaptor and load the micro sim into a standard phone to edit the sim even though the phone doesn't use it?

Any ideas welcome.

Cradle mod

I have just bought an iPhone 4 and have a 3GS merc cradle. How did you mod yours to take the iPhone 4?

It involves shaving some of the locking mechanism off with a dremmel or similar.
