I have just acquired an iPOD Nano and want to fit it to my SLK 97. I have a Sony head unit which has CD changer capability and CD text. I have bought a wiring kit that goes from the stereo to the Nano, but it also comes with a silver box that everything plugs into. Has anyone bought one of these wire sets and if so where have you fitted the box? I was hoping to use the ashtray to put the Nano in and run the wires there, but I can't get the draw out!
