Hi All,

I'm sure we've all noticed quite a few members putting their beloved Mercs up for sale in recent days - myself included - and nearly all notices have gone pretty much unanswered.

I wonder if people have their own theories about why that might be? Is it a crap time to sell an older car that may become a driveway project, is it poor marketing on the sellers part or perhaps just an undesirable selection of cars up for grabs?

I need to be put out of my misery as I was expecting a couple bites at least

Cheers,

Chris

P.S. No sour grapes here, just genuinely interested to know if I could be doing more. C :)

There's always a good reason why something doesn't sell at any time of year. Allegedly spring is a good time and its true that people are more optomistic in spring, plus they fancy something new for the summer. At the end of the day, you are selling something that isn't on the shopping list of your average punter (they want a cheap fiat) so you just need to be patient. There is a face out there that wants your car, you just need to hit the same week as them.
