I am sure many of us have said "oh I wish I had that now".

What car have you regretted selling.

I'll start with my MK2 3.8 Jaguar, bought for 50 quid. (not sold, as I left it in a field gate way after it ran out of fuel in the early 70's and never went back for it).:D

My 24 valve Senator

and I've just seen its replacement drive away by its new owner today Omega 3.0 Elite (which was actually still a smoother drive than the R Class  despite its 180k miles)

An ex police Triumph 2.5pi painted in synthetic primrose yellow (I liked it) that went like stink and my old BMW e32 740i that was just perfect.

I'll definitely regret selling my current shed too, when the time comes. If it survives...

In 1977 i sold my 1965 MGB Roadster, all chrome and wire wheels, should never have sold it. The only other regret was selling my Boxster about 5 years ago, really regret selling that one.

In 1991 I sold my 1972 BMW 2002 with original 70,000 kilometres only. Wish I hadn't.

In 1968, I regret selling my 1967 Renault 8 Gordini 1300 with 38,000 miles on it.
Quick enough to make a standard Cooper S look slow, especially on dirt roads, provided you could handle the oversteer.

Mic

I can fully understand that Mic. I bought my 1947 MGTC in 1966 for £145 - and was ripped off! In the intervening years between then and now a lot of more modern - and much better - cars have come and gone, but somehow I could never bring myself to sell it. There's something inimitable about the classic British 'square - rigger' sports car.

One I do rather regret passing on was my 1973 Gilbern Invader Estate. A similar concept to the Reliant Scimitar GTE and with the same Ford power, it handled infinitely better and was much rarer (only 66 built). I had a lot of fun out of that car but the build quality was rubbish, and eventually the garage space was needed for more deserving causes

I've always wanted a Gilbern Invader.

This is my old estate from when I owned it....

...and I notice it's up for sale again by the guy I sold it to.

So if you're tempted Triv.......;)
