My 2004 E220 CDI is 500 miles from a 'C Service', the first service since buying it at the end of last year.
I'm DIY'er, and have read the other posts asking my main question about what does a C service cover - the main answer is always 'have it connected to a Star to get the exact list as the computer decides'.
I say B@ll@cks as surely there's a 'rough guide' to what's covered in a A, B, C service...as there's the main items like oil filter (always change), air filter, brake fluids etc. Surely there's some sort of crib sheet that lists these basic items...even if you do replace the likes of the air filter prematurely, it will do more good than harm (and the cost saving will easily cover it)
