........any meetings, or the like on the south coast where Merc owners get together, for friendly banter, to show-off or whatever, (get ****ed) (lol) ???

It was just an idea. Does anybody out there know of any anyway.

It would be a great thing to swap stories, problems, help solve other peoples' probs.

Advise on where to get spares, and not get ripped-off for spares, servicing, etc.

Sell their cars, by buy others' or even swap cars of simular value, that would be interesting, wouldn't it????

When I was living in the states they seemed to have a lot of these 'meets', to talk cars and stand around going '...yup' whilst drinking weak beer.
