Upon investigating batteries etc for my A-Class I went to Euro Car Sharks, come on, £429.99 for a battery???????????/ /WTF?, oh, they allow you to use a code which brings it down to a stupidly overpriced £279.49. What planet are they on and what planet do they think we're on. The battery in question is an
Exide AGM 096

This I can get on ebay for £115.
I'll never use ECP ever again as some years ago they specified a wrong oil for my car, sent me wrong size wiper blades and on another occasion listed an incorrect oil filter for a Seat Mii I had.

This inspires me to bypass every MB dealer, I can wipe my own arse without MB smiling at me whilst relieving of some serious pound notes. To hell with them.

Try MB Grangemouth (seriously!).
Mention the forum as they do discounts and £5 delivery.

Also look at Tayna. Great service and quick delivery. An Exide battery will be under £100 + delivery.

Done hours and bours of searching, my car has a second battery and the main battery needs an AGM battery(??) That's what Mercedes specify, you can get Mickey Mouse batteries but not a recogniseable brand with AGM.

Yeah, I know. I've been on wheels since 1976, Exide, Ferodo, Mintex, Unipart, (never liked Ford's Motorcraft stuff. Never bought Mickey Mouse stuff.
