To get an LPG tank in this shape...I know it's not a good drawing (to out of touch...), it's a mate who's looking for a tank that fit's not only into his wheel well but basically the full area of his boot with a "drop down" recess into the wheel well itself, he's looking for roughly 2-3" high for area of the boot itself and then as stated dropping into the wheel well.

Hi Stulc,
Possible - yes. Expensive - definitely. You are looking at a custom fabricated pressure vessel to meet all the relavent safety criteria for vehicle fuel tanks. Google reveals little - but it would be worth ringing round LPG conversion companies and putting it to them, you may well get a good lead.
When i was looking into LPG conversion, i recall hearing that custom tanks were available but at a (sizeable) premium.
