I would like to take the opportunity to inform your members that there is a possibility that new Mercedes using electronic keys are potentially not as secure as you may want them to be.  The keys may be able to be duplicated or the electronic signal copied.  How! I do not know.  Mercedes will deny there is a problem for obvious reasons.  But I have experienced the result of this.  You may want to contact your local dealer to get there view, but i would keep an eye out on the vehicle.

It might have repossessed, do you have any proof that the car was stolen I know a numerous amount of people with Mercedes with electronic key and they still all have there cars, might even be the previous owner that took it.
