Isofix on 2003 CLK

Can someone help? My wife bought a forward facing child seat from Halfrauds. Her requirements were:

1. That it would fit in her focus convertible and allow the wind deflector to remain in place (when the grandchild is not in the seat!).

2. Would fit in my 2003 CLK.

The lad fitted the seat (Britax I think) and it worked in the Focus as required and he pointed out that it was isofix and the only one on his system suitable for both Focus CC and CLK. Wife duly parted with large wodge of dosh.

The seat is great, works on Isofix in the Ford - but is it me  ? The handbook says the Merc is isofix but I can't find the brackets. There is a leather roll between the seat cushion and the backrest but even with the seat cushion tilted forward I can find no isofix.

The seat works with the rear cbelts in the Merc and is fine (and safe) but if it'll isofix it's even better.

I have a habit of buying transition models - did W208s have isofix? Do w209 have isofix - where's mine!!

Not 100% sure on this but I think that if it has isofix, it should have a small (penny size) "isofix" logo on the base of the backrest part of the seat.

I have an isofix kit for a W209 CLK Coupe (2003+). It is for both sides and complete with all bolts and fixes straight into the space behind the rear passenger seat.

These are original Mercedes parts!! (very difficult to obtain) - No welding is needed whatsoever, as all the holes and fixings are built into the Mercedes CLK floorpan as standard.. unless you specified that you wanted isofix as an option, when the car was ordered they will not have been installed.

They are simple to fit and take 10 mins to install and somebody wants to buy them from me, email me directly - if i have not responded to this thread below.. it means THEY ARE STILL FOR SALE. :)

Whenever they put ours in, the just pushed the rear connection legs of the seat into the crease between the horizontal seat and the vertical back rest and there was a shaped receiving lug either side which the connectors at the end of the legs clicked into.
