Park assist not working,
And park sensor beeps when there is absolutely nothing to detect. I have taken the car in to different Mercedes Benz dealers. And the issue was never resolved.

the car, age and mileage would help

when you say went to a merc dealer, as in a main franchised garage, sounds unlikely?

its probably something simple.... dodgy sensor or wiring fault. if you went to them they would have the diagnostic scan info... so what does that say and was remedial work did they claim to complete ?

W205, 2016 model 56 000km,
Normal when it take to them the error have already disappeared...

they have updated the software, replaced the crankshaft sensor replaced the cam shaft sensor and they replaced the pedal accelerator, and the after 3 months I went back again and I was told it’s a an accelerator pedal...

They diagnostic scan picks up nothing apparently...

how often do you wash the car?

in the winter road filth won't help, and nor would flood water. if nothing saves as a fault it points me towards dirt...

even my fathers old beast add the rears doing odd stuff, I cleaned the sensors with a toothbrush and they seem to be happier

Apologies for adding my post to this thread, but it is a similar park assist problem, if slightly different. I've never actually used the park function, and it was working normally IE, speed under 20kph and the blue "P" appears. Pass the 20 kph, and it vanishes, But yesterday, that changed. While it still came on, its now very slow to go off..25, 30 Kph before it vanishes. Any ideas anyone?

Well I'm going to sound a bit like a dinosaur but I've never really got on with a lot of "modern" features on cars. My SLK has rear parking sensors which sound off regularly when reversing despite nothing being in the way. My CLK, with front and rear sensors, does something similar but only when going forwards and on the offside only, and usually only on my drive. I just don't trust these systems very much. Then there's auto wipers on the CLK which are far far too sensitive and wipe at the slightest hint of any raindrops, my indie says they're calibrated correctly. I could go on but l won't.

Park assist not working,
And park sensor beeps when there is absolutely nothing to detect. I have taken the car in to different Mercedes Benz dealers. And the issue was never resolved.
I bought a brand new GLC300e in late December 2020. Eventually I discovered that the "active park assist" would not work. I checked the manual both online and paper ones, searched YouTube and seemed to be doing the right things but it still would not work.

I eventually took it into the dealership in March and whilst they could physically see the problem could not send a report into Mercedes because the reporting system would not allow them to because the electronic system could not see a fault.

I was asked by the dealership last week if I would take it back in so that their "Master Technician" (I am guessing Mercedes version of a Jedi) could look at it.

Got it back today and the result is that there is some new legislation of some description which is asking ALL car manufacturers and dealerships to recall the vehicles to have the Active Park Assist/Park Assist disabled.
The dealership only found this out in the last day or so because of "recall" they had received about disabling the "Park Assist" what the dealership cannot understand is that it appears to be for all vehicle registered on or after 1st January 2021 and mine was registered in December. So they are looking to find out what the score is. As I said all their documentation shows it as part of the "spec", which is included in the price yet has been removed. They are fuming that they have been working on the car for 2 weeks and only just found out.
