My Wife picked up her new to her Mini on Friday, 1.5 Diesel cooper. I have to say for a three cylinder diesel, its smooth, quiet and quick !!!
However, it will have its gremlins, as already demonstrated. Parked it at front of house as already had three cars on the drive, half on the grass verge and half off as we do with any of our cars waiting to get on the drive. Started it up to move it and it flashed a message " steering needs more effort" or something like that. It went away again and has not come back. Research indicates it could be i tried to turn steering before it was properly running or the battery is down on voltage, both a possibility as been sitting at dealers for last month waiting for us to collect.
Then today, no flash from indicators when locking car, two flashes on unlocking. Opened and closed both doors, same, open and closed tailgate, now flashes on lock.

JUST NOTICED THE "A" IN MERCEDES AT TOP, SORRY

I will wait to see what other nice little things it fires at me.

its also got thing i have never contended with before, one being tyre pressure sensors.
Hope they do not have to be changed when tyre changed, as there are about £20 or more a corner.

For the SL, MB charge £130 per corner. Thankfully there are other suppliers available.
