Well, I have finally moved to Spain - lock, stock and smoking barrel

The 500+ mile journey from Bilbao to La Torre, was an absolute doddle - thanks to satnav (I was on my own) but mainly to the fact that there was not a single, solitary lane-hogger for the whole journey! Just imagine THAT in the UK.

The S-Class performed effortlessly - hope you are reading this, Gareth (UncleBenz).

Now, where's me golf clubs?

We are nicely situated in 'farming country'. Surrounded by orange & lemon groves, artichokes and almond growers.
20 minutes from the Med, Airport and Murcia City. Sufficiently far enough away from the lager louts further up the coast.
Oh - and living on a golf resort The main problem being the Club House - do I take a 10 minute walk or take the car? There again, do I take the ML or S-Class? So many decisions!!!

another fled the country! its better weather but watch for those officials over TV scams, my parents are in torrevieka or whatever its called near benidorm, and everyone had their TV's switched off by the government because of rogue satalite dealers offering cheap tv. the spanish can be swines but still they look after folk better than our govmnt does.

Yep, I understand the TV problem totally. What REALLY happened, was that the illegal operators - who simply 'passed on' the satellite signal - were closed down. Quite rightly so.

If, like us, you chose to go through a LEGAL supplier, then there have been no problems whatsoever.
