ive looked looked and looked

ive bought a 1997 e class 3ltr td 8wks ago and so far ive had nothin but hassle, ive stripped the head off it to have a glow plug milled out ,repaired faulty elec windows and done a grand total of 6 miles in it.
my latest drama is that the glow plug light is still on i know the glowplugs are ok cause i took them out earthed them and watched them glow hot ( all except pot 3 ( funny enough the one which had to be milled out) i swapped the glowplug with pot 4 and was ok,so brings me to the conclusion that its the relay ,not being the sharpest knife in the box where it comes to electrics can i find NO, not a scoobie doo.
can anyone give me a helpin hand an locate it so ican fix it or buy a newi

I do not know what CDI you have this is for a 320 if wrong ,please give first 6 vin numbers

i must be a bit dumb av ad a good look around and still cant see where the glowplug relay is

The relay is on the NSF inner wing. It's black & a bit bigger that a fag packet. The 6 pin plug will have the corresponding glow plug numbers on it but they are only on the relay end & not the actual wiring plug, you will need a mirror to see due to the downward angle of the plug.

(thanks for your help fellas) finally found it , ive took it off and give it a good coat of lookin at sure i read somewhere on the forum that i can get inside of it to repair it, it seems to be a sealed unit, any ideas:

many thanks for your help i finaly got inthe relay and surprise surprise the fuse had melted , got m soldering iron on it an bobs ur aunty cheers fellas

hi , i know this is an old post but can you help me locate my g/p relay looked on inner wing ,,,,, not there ,,,,,, unles im going blind as well as mad lol , also in prosses of removing glow plugs but head on on 2 is just going round and round ?????? oh yes some lovely soal has already had a go at changing them me thinks Grrrrrrrrr please help , kind reguards Mike .
