- 2014 639 Viano- 651, 5sp Auto. 2009 S211- 646, 5sp Auto.
I jack up on an inclined driveway, and chock the other wheels.
Likely that has bearing but the jacking pads on this and previous 639's didn't last long, the flared retainers would snap and the pads would then hang loose and fall out.
So yesterday I removed the bungs I'd fitted, and pre treated with Dinitrol RC800, sprayed with caliper paint, and fitted these -

They are remarkably cheap, feel much more robust than the original, and have a rubber flared base that offers better hold.
I've jacked up all four this morning and, so far, impressed with the results.
I'm intending to check the 211 and if they use the same type as expected that'll get 'em as well.
Tip, if you go for these.
Remove the flaring centre pin,
drive the pad into the hole with a mallet. Then fit the pin and drive that home.
