My BAS light has started coming on after a few minutes driving. last time this happened, about a year ago, it turned out to be a faulty wheel sensor. Strange thing is, then the ABS and cruise control went off until the sensor was fixed but this time neither of these are affected and I can't find anything else that is. I probably should just ignore it but I was Just wondering if anybody had any ideas about it. 1997 c250td sport saloon.

First thing to try is the stop lamp switch, only £9 and easy to fit.

Thanks malcolm. As it happens the BAS light hasn't come on for the last 3 days but I'm sure it will eventually. If so I'll certrainly do as you say.
Thanks again,
Pete
