jerking

I have a W211 E320 (2003) petrol automatic. I have noticed recently that at low speeds, when my foot isn't on the accelerator, the car jerks forward several times - like it may stall. The problem is intermittent. Any advice would be gratefully received.

list could be endless of poss faults, need some fault codes really, water in gearbox oil, airmass sensor and so on!!!
