Juddering through transmission?

I have just bought a 2011 E350 CDI estate with full MBSH. Mileage is 82,000 and it seems to be in tip top condition. Its done 2500 miles since its last 'B' service where it had the automatic transmission oil and filter change. I have noticed that when 'coasting' around a roundabout for example and using very light throttle, the transmission seems to hunt a little, around the 1000+ RPM mark. This also happened once whilst in cruise at about 35-40mph. It feels as if there is hesitancy in the drive until I open the throttle more. Is this a known thing with W212? Wouldn't Merc have picked this up on the recent service. I'm a little concerned as I feel as though I may have bought myself some trouble.

Well , Merc won’t have driven the car , so they won’t have picked it up .
May be worth raising the issue with the dealer that sold the car ? Maybe this was why it was traded in ?
