Just collected our 55 plate C 220 Avantgarde and initially very impressed with the condition of the car and he way it drives. We bought from a Mercedes main dealer and they got rid of most of the stone chips and the alloys now look as new. Very impressed with the dealer service so far as well. the only niggle at the moment is a residual chemical smell in the car which is a bit annoying, it smells like some kind of powerful leather cleaner.
Car was more powerful than I thought it would be, surging forward well on kick down. This car has the COMAND unit and has far more toys than I have ever had in a car before so will take some gettting used to. The car is mainly to get my wife to work each day so she will be able to teach me the controls as I am sure she will have lots of time to play whilst sitting in the M6 and M1 traffic jams.
