Just joined and 1st time AMG owner

Hi,

Saying hello and after any words of wisdom for a soon to be cls63 AMG S first time owner. Put down the deposit today and will hopefully be receiving my first full bore V8 AMG CLS soon.
Having been buying cars on PCP for the past 10 years, I am slightly apprehensive about fully owning such a high performance car as this.
I have had a CLS coupe before, but it was a 220d. Always loved Mercedes Benz and I knew that my next car needed to be a keeper, so I went for it with this one.

Any other CLS AMG owners in here?

This is an image from the dealer. I hope it looks the same or better when I receive it
The dealer runs a detailing business and I asked for a decent polish to be included in the deal. Whilst it won't be a full detailing of the car, it will be immeasurably better than anything I can do. If only I could pick the car up from a showroom, rather than it having to be driven for 3 hours to get to my door. I may to clean it before I get in it, to try and imitate that first drive off the forecourt.

I'll take some more photos once I get it in the flesh.

Getting the car on Sunday and I’m super excited to say the least. Went for a ceramic coating to be professionally applied to protect the paint.
I don’t have a garage, so what’s the verdict on buying a proper breathable, weatherproof outdoor cover for the car. Are they worth the investment?

I’m going to find it very hard to wait for driving restrictions to be lifted, but wait I must.

So many answers!
On the cover there have been many threads on here - sponsors @Morethanpolish will sell you excellent ones but unless your car is spotless clean there is a possibility that the cover will grind any dirt into your paint and score it- in your case the ceramic...good move by the way, which treatment you going for?
