Not ML, but I used a double DIN full screen Pioneer unit in my 2004 W203 a few years ago. It was great and I paid the place I bought it from to fit it, including a microphone near the rear view mirror for hands free calling .

It could have had adapters fitted so I could have controlled some limited functions from the steering wheel, it it was around £100 so I just lived without that bit.
