Yesterday evening I was on my way from Naples to Rome on the A1 - Went past 2 brand new CLKs, they were both lightly masked, with Merc Badges removed and some plastic panels covering the rear wings, however, they were clearly based on the new C class. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera. The cars also had several aerials and were clearly transmiting data to an E class driving between the 2 cars

They look very similar to the current CLK, although both had an odd Audi TT type spoiler - however this may have been part of the masking

From the Back both cars had 2 large exhausts and fat tyres - leads me to think that these were fitted with 6.3 engine - that should make a very nice car

Are you sure they weren't just on their way back from a near-by Halfords?? :-D

If this was in the UK I may agree, however, never seen a pimped up car in Italy - I think that they do have a much better sense of style
