Hi everyone,

Just signed up here. I'm from the Netherlands and ended up here because I was solving some malfunctions on my MB.

My daily is a 2004 E55 AMG wagon or estate whatever you call it. It is converted to LPG but is besides that completely stock. My fun car is a 1983 BMW E30 with a Toyota 2JZ GTE engine which I am currently converting from twin to single turbo.

I've attached a pic down below. Since BMW's are probably satanic here I will for now not post a pic of that.

The reason I ended up here is because my tail lights started to have issues and I discovered that this had something to do with the LM2904 chip.

Last week I soldered a new chip in there and it is back in working order now. Thanks to the tip on this forum I spent 31 cents instead of 290 euro's for the complete unit.

Since I could not find too much info besides here besides that the LM2904 was probably the cause I decided to document what i've done and would like to share that with you guys.

Here's a picture of the BMW everyone would probably be OK with. This turbo hopefully changes the previous 430whp into 650+whp. However, the E-Class is way more comfortable.
