Hello all,

I have seen some K&N panel filter for my CLK 230 W208 but not sure they will be any good. My old car was a Golf GTI and a K&N induction Kit improved the breathing and gave the car that extra roar.

Has anyone had any experience with K&N panel filter on a Merc? Have you noticed any improvement in response?

Its not too expensive (£37) and i know the whole idea of a K&N filter is that they last the lifetime and can be cleaned and reoiled. Is there any performance enancement from these panel filters on Mercs?

Regards
Amo

Don't bother. The oil on the K&N filter will most likely find it's way to the MAF and create more problems than you would ever wish for.

Stick with the standard dry element for longer MAF life and less headaches.
