K40 Relay

Does anyone know where can i find the K40 relay
on my C230K 1998 ?

What is the function of the relay you are looking for?

I understand it's something to do with activating the Magnetic Clutch on the Supercharger

k40 relay is located under the bonnet on the passenger side of the engine bay in the module box next to the windscreen scuttle panel.It is a big square box with a screwed on lid,and has fuses and relays in it.

I had a problem on a 1997 E300 diesel. The glowplug light was not coming on. i replaced the glow plug relay module and it is now working. But i read in one response that the K40 relay may be the problem. how does the k40 relay module control the glow plugs?
