Key fob battery

I’ve got to give credit where credit is due’ my key fob stopped working this afternoon so instead of faffing around I phoned MB Stratford upon Avon as I was only round the corner, they said they had one in so I popped round and they fitted it for me, when I asked how much they said no charge as it’s all part of customer service.
The car is 2013 and wasn’t bought from them so I was well impressed, I don’t know if this is general practice throughout MB dealerships but it made my day.

A £1 part, should be FOC to buy minimal goodwill! Good job though.

A happy chappie for the sake of less then £1 is money well spent for them. That £1 has just advertised their dealership on here for example, fair play to them for doing a good turn.

they seem to charge for diagnostics to replace windscreen wipers these days.
