Hi guys,

I've got some problems with my 2000 clk 230, please help!!
Firstly there is only 1 key and the key fob is not working. I took it to a merc specialist and apparently its not sending out any signal, the red light doesn't come on. They quoted 200 for a new one. Im just wondering if theres any way of repairing the key?
Also the boot light keeps staying on and the windows keep going down a few inches even after they go all the way up. But if I pull the plug out of the unit located at the side in the boot, the windows are ok but apparently that wire i unplugged takes care of central locking as well so there's no central locking...

Please help, im quite tired of opening the door with the key blade... Any suggestions greatly appreciated!!

There is no way that we can sort out what is wrong without it being plugged into STAR. There are mods for the windows going down etc.

Do you have a good indie near you

Pull the windows down fully and hold button for 2 sec,s, put the windows up and hold for 2 sec,s, that resync,s the windows!

There are faults on this series where the door modules lose count of the window motors, and the modules are changed
