key fob

got a wierd thing going on ( no comments please ha) with my key fob . wife came home complaning remote wont work and had to use the key ,oh dear
symptoms are wont lock ,lock maually wont unlock . opened passenger door and closed remote locked wont unlock and no clicks
tried next morning ,nowt going on there
wow alls working five mins later , was thinking fob battery flat but now not so sure worked 5 times on the trot , could it be sensor or other electrical , has been parked in sun getting a bit hot

any input aprecciated
