You need to take it to a key specialist such as ReplacementMercedesKeys or to your dealer to have the key deleted and a new one coded.

Once the key is deleted can I Still use the other key . Or do I need 2 new keys . Insurance said locks have to be. Changed and I need 2 new keys .
Confusing .
Thanks

You can still use the key you have.
There are also physical locks for use with the emergency key. These are in the boot lid and in the drivers door. That will be what insurance wants changed as the emergency key is part of the key you've lost.

If the key was deleted would it be possible if someone had the key to clone it hence still having a key before the lost one was deleted.
