keyless entry not working; car locked; can open with my valet key but i know the alarm will activate; will the alarm go off once i place my electronic key in the ignition?

I am assuming you have a CL,SL or S class with keyless go and a DAS 3 type key (triangle plug that fits ignition) if so you can operate the remote on this key or if you have to use the blade to gain entry the alarm will activate but will switch of when the key is put in the ignition ( as long as the vehicle battary is OK)
