Keyless Go Fault?

Having never had this feature before I was not sure what to check when I bought my car.(E55 2005)
It would seem that some bits are working and some not, not a problem as the dealer will sort it out, but I need to know the what I am talking about when I call him!
Once the car is open it will start with the gear lever button, no problem there.
It is just when opening the car is is a bit all over the place. The rear passenger side door will open and lock on the handle, the rear drivers side will lock on the handle, but both front doors do nothing at all. The boot will also open on the handle.
Is this a known fault? and is there an easy fix or is it new parts?
Thanks
Max

Does it do the same thing when you use the remote, I take it that you have the touch sensitive door handle on the front doors

Yep, the touch sensitive ones.
The Key unlocks everything no bother, but the whole point is not to have to get it out of my pocket!
Thanks

I think that the problem will be no more than re programming the system, as the locking is OK, they will possibly change the Keyless go module

It should be,,we only mainly get faults with the door handles so far, though one of the techies had one 3 weeks back where the starter did not function.

I love it,,a great thing to have
