A few weeks have passed with me realising there was no kickdown in the
w124, so today i decided to clean the car and investigate behind the pedal.

so where the kickdown switch is, there seems to be a cover missing - all i see is metal contact points in a 3cm diameter electrical connection box , which explains it, and i cant find the said switinch cover it in the car, assume its been chucked out.

so i need to replace the switch

i ve looked on the russian site and located the switch, its only £12, from the parts website, so not too bad, anyone know how straightforward this is and any pointers! i assume there is no need for he dealership to calibrate (etc) or am i wrong..

much appeciated

Hi Mioba,You will like the car more once you have the switch fitted, once on the should be nothing to do,and no programming. If you get stuck, just ask.
