Knocking noise from interior fans

This is an odd problem and don't know what it could be. For the first 10-20 seconds after the engine is turned on in my 2002 c-class coupe, there is a knocking noise coming from the interior fans in the centre of my dash. After that, they go quiet and are fine. The climate control works fine (hot and cold) and I can't see anything obstructing in the fan grates. Any idea what this could be before I take it to the dealership?! Help. Thanks. :)
