Kph Speedometer wanted

I recently purchased a 2002 SL 500. the speedometer is in MPH only. Ireland recently changed all their roadsigns and speedlimits to Kilometers. is it a big job to change the speedometer? Is it just a matter of changing a "dial"? If so has anybody got a Kph speedo that will fit? I hope that the electrics dont need changing. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes it is just a matter of changing the dial,I went the opposite way with a south African merc,changed it to mph.......

I may have a new KPH speedo to suit an sl 500 does you chassis number start 129 or 230 ( I have the one to suit the latest type 230)

Ok guys and Gals? I still need a KPH speedometer or speedometer cluster for my R 230 SL 500. Can anybody help me?
