lcd failing!!

hi guys long time no speak
my problem is this in my 202 c class the lcd mileage digits are starting to fail at the moment its only the trip mileage but even this drives me crazy

is there anything i can try (connenctions)??

This is usually poor connections on the ribbon cables that show the info

cool so does that mean cluster out (2 bent bits of wire in the bottom) a little contact cleaner and back in..

The optimism I love it, :D:D sadly it means stripping out the whole thing to get to the connecting ribbon cable, it is where the ribbon cable goes into the connector that gives the problems

If you are going to try it.. push the cluster out from the rear

Sorry there is not one for this so far,many have cured the mileometer but not the clock

Really not worth doing if your wanting to fix the clock, is really really really frustrating lol, the plastic ribbon cable just falls apart if you try and strip the actual contact part back, you got a firm that specialise in fix them in Yarmouth and its £90 well spent ;)
