The LCD readings for Time, Odo, and temp have all but disappeared! Occasionally they come back slightly, but not so that you can read it. The benefit is that it sometimes looks like the car has only done 13K instead of 113000!!

However, I would like to get it fixed. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone know about getting it fixed?

Thanks TV, I have contacted them. I have written to a number of people before this email, and spoken to a couple of garages...all of whom have told me you must get a new dash...that the LCD cannot be topped up.

The difficulty with Speedofixer is that they need the dash sending to them, which I can't really do. I suppose I will have to take the car to them for a day - but the logistics are proving difficult.

They can fix at my house but that adds an extra £100 - £150 to the bill.

Anyone know where to get a new dash??

Don't suppose it's the bulbs? My C200 odo was completely black until I gave it a gentle 'tap' and that sorted it. The clock is still out though - bulb must have gone completely there!

Apparently changing the bulbs is a 2 minute job to someone who knows how!

Let me know how you get on as I am interested in this also!

Thanks

Johnny

No, definitely not the bulbs...it is the LCD. Sometimes I can see it, sometimes it is elsewhere. I am now missing bits from Temperature, Clock, and Odo.
