leaking air con on c250 td

I have a problem with the air con not working all the time.sometimes it will work others not but all the time it works it smells mechanical and i have had it charged twice and the condensor appears to be leaking after a search product put into the system to find any leaks...does this mean a new compressor ? is it easy to fit etc?

it looks more like a new condenser, recharge and recheck for more leaks

I think the leak is in the compressor not the condessor so does it mean a compressor?
