Leaks bl**dy leaks 280SL

Have a 280 SL 1981 great car however,water keeps appearing in the front offside footwell.Have replaced the screen,still the same,water even runs in when i user washer jets and gets my feet,then goes into fuse box and relays and causes havoc! What are the likely culprits?

ARe there drains from the air(vent) inlets, just above the firewall.

I have a 280sl and had exactly the same problem down to rust in the corners of the bulk head under hinge boxes and around heater plenum chamber only way to fix was lots of rust killer and unfortunately fibreglass for know until I can afford to have the tin worm cut out, The rust was caused by blocked drains to clear reach between gearbox and tunnel and keep moving rubber tubes until all rubbish comes out of them
