Hi, first timer here, looks like a good site.
Got a '72 280s 4door red leather interior, front seats v. bad, rear saveable, can anyone recommend a good guy for refurbing the interior, obviously I'm not a millionaire but like everyone else would like the best job for the least money ( however much it is ). All input gratefully received.

hello and welcome and in answer to you first question, yes it is a good site.

Where do you live would be a good starting point to find someone to do this work.

Inf. Int.

To be honest Malcolm, I havent thought of doing it myself, I'm quite handy with stuff but Ive never had anything to do with anything like this. I would definitely consider it if, I could reaserch it and source the necessary materials, equipment and such like. However because I work away and my time off is very precious I would have to weigh up the financial cost against the time one. The beauty of it is, is I can throw a couple of half decent seat covers on the front seats to get by with. The only draw back is having new front leather dictates new rear along with door cards I suppose to bring it all into line. Again any suggestions, points of reference etc gratefully received. So far, well impressed with response!

Have a look in the back of the Classic Car magazines, there's loads of places selling renovation products.

The name "Woolies" springs to mind.....but I may have dreamt it.....
