Leather seat colours

I am attempting to find the colour of my seat inserts.

The listed colour is VX1 Orion Grey but there is no indication of what the centre colour is and I am hoping someone has been able to find out.

Have you tried checking the vehicle options though one of the VIN decoder sites?

As above put your full Vin# into a decoder such as the couple below to see if the seat colour is there.

Yes I have and I have also visited my local Mercedes dealership who have been unable to find any colour other than Orion Grey. I have sent an email to Germany but yet to receive a reply

If all of the seats have the insert then is it possible that it is a Designo combination?

On another point, if you need to know the colour in order to repair the seat any competent automotive seat restorer should be able to match it. This is because leather seats these days aren't so much dyed as painted and then sealed.
