Leather Steering wheel

After just 8 months the leather on the S211's steering wheel (palma grey) looks quite shiny - any one got any ideas on how you can get it looking like it did when it was new i.e. sort of "matt" finish ?

We had the opposite problem with our leather wheel. A hard rough patch roughly where your right hand would be. The result of the sweaty hand of the previous owner maybe.
Someone on this forum suggested saddle soap. It cost me £2 on ebay and it's worked a treat. Might work on your steering wheel too. Worth a try.

Aslo is it gripstone or Gliptone ?
