Well folks that time has come...I'm moving away from the Mercedes fold and moving on to new motoring pastures.

I've just taken delivery of a Jaguar XJR-8. Absolutely loving it. :D

However I just wanted to thank all the friendly people on this forum who have helped me with great advice and assistance in the time I've owned my Mercedes CLK.

As for the car....

Good points:

Always been a great car to drive.
Still love the look of the car even yet.

Bad points:

During the time Ive owned the car it munched about four MAF sensors but apart from that its been a great car.

I'll be parting company with my Merc on the 17th February. The car has a set of 19" AMG alloys that I am selling. I'll put a proper classified on the forum but if anyone's interested in the meantime please drop me a PM.

Thanks folks

Darren

We will miss you Darren, but life goes on :D I understand the that Jag is a nice car in many ways, so why not have a change. It was nice of you to say goodbye, and who knows we may see you again in a few years time

Thanks guys....who knows I may be back. Have to say I like the CLS so I might get an AMG one in a few years.

Btw glad to see you're back on the forum Malcolm (I've not logged in for a while). Not be long till you hit your 30,000th post!! ;)

Like "Arnie" = "You'll be back" :D or at least you will hopefully, have a quick look in from time to time:cool: I think if I wasn't such a mercedes fan one of the few cars to tempt me from the fold would be jaguar - but still a little concerned about some of the major faults you can encounter with them? best of luck:D
