LED Brake lights

Hi there, new to here, so please be gentle!

I'm after some information from you guys that have LED Brake lights in the clusters, in addition to the high level LED brake light.

I've seen them on the new SLs and I believe there are soon to be/already on the new E-Class. I'm just wondering what sort of base they use? Do they use a bayonet fit that most cars use, or are they customised to the merc? Also, are they just for brakes only, or tail lights as well?

Any help on this would be much appreciated!

led lights come on a PCB (printed circuit board) they are standard on the elegance 211 (new E class) you cannot buy the led's you buy the whole rear light cluster ???
