at 73 to run a sl & start fitting funky led lights to it just shows only as old as you feel well done

They are plenty bright, but you'll probably need a resistor to fool the car into thinking you have regular bulbs. Otherwise the computer may say you have a dead bulb.

Apparently there are some replacement L.E.D. lamps that have a built in resistor already to do exactly this, though I would,nt know where the O/P could buy them from, it might be worth doing some googling!

Why not change to original MB LED's?

My E55 has them, I am sure them same would fit "normal" E's as well?!

MB at a cost of £300 the AMG version is normally black in the centre, not for the weak hearted to fit as the rear lining has to come out
