I think these can look really cool on some cars and I have seen some fitted to various Mercedes cars but not the CLK.

Does anyone know if you can get them and how much they would be?

Check out my lights on my C230K I too thought that Lexus style lights would look good on my W202, when I ordered them I asked for "white rear lights" instead of "clear" and when they arrived you can see what I got, not sure what other Mercedes owners think but probably not a lot different to my colleagues at work thought.
But as I paid nearly £200 for them they were gonna be fitted and I would have to like them!

We all make mistakes. I had some short number plates made up once. Thought they'd look cool and show off my 5 character reg number.
.....Wrong.
It said what most non standard modes say. "my cars a bit crap" so my reasonable car stopped looking reasonable and became a crap one trying too hard.

It's very rare that any after market mod looks good. After all, the manufacturers normally spend a fortune getting it just right, hence OEM mods, like wheels and kits normally work very well whilst stuff from other folk just looks like junk.

Yes I agree OEM things are the best, for instance if you have a Merc putting AMG or Brabus mods on and for BMWs Alpina and AC Schnitzer are good examples.

Sticking bits on from Halfords/Ripspeed and the like just ruin cars imho.

Unless of course you have a Saxo and spend most time in the McDonalds car park doing burnouts!

Totally agree with you - the only modifications you want on a Merc are AMG or Brabus.

I think we all went through a phase of adding aftermarket bits to our first cars. I thought the alloy wheel lookalike plastic wheel trims, extra front spots and fogs and a fake mobile phone aerial on my Mark 1 fiesta looked the biz when I was 17. Fortunately I grew out of that by the age of 18.

What really gets me is when I see someone has re-badged their car to be better than it really is, or added a turbo or injection sticker etc etc. As if anyone actually believes it!!

Case in point being someone who has an old shape A140 Classic A-class near me. They seem to think it looks really cool with an AMG badge on the back while the car remains standard in every way. It doesn't even have AMG alloys!!!! How I laugh every day as I drive by.

So sad. :(

Now I have the AMG I do like the standard ones on that and having looked at those lights and the boot spoiler I put on the C230K for the last 6 years the AMG looks so clean without them.
I had thought about getting the lights painted the same colour as the car, just the horizontal flutes, But I quickly decided that was a bad idea.
I,m so glad I,ve still got the standard lights.
I,ve seen the error of my ways and any mods I do will be MB ones, I have thought about putting the facelift bumpers and skirts on it and replacing the 15" AMG's with 17" AMG's same as the 2000 model C43's.
But its my everyday hack now, I think I,ll be spending my money on the C43 now (tasteful mods that is).

They are better than many though the black stripe round the E class (presumably there for copyright reasons) would put me off. Fortunately my E has factory LED tail lights anyway - as have all UK avantgarde and sport models.
