Light-coloured interiors!

Conversely, our passengers in Provence last week both commented on the car windows obscuring the colours of the countryside we were driving through.

This is exactly the complaint I had when a passenger in a friends car. I take the point about the dog in rorywquins's post but the A/C seems to keep her happy.

I have a pano roof and once had a complaint about that from a rear passenger but everyone else likes it. I certainly enjoy having it open at low(ish) speeds.

Factory blinds in the rear windows were an option on my old W204. Not sure if it's available any longer.

We use those stick on (surface tension) things that always seem to get jambed between the glass and window frame.....

It took me a long time to find a light interior car but the wait was worth it. I find that lighter interiors make the car feel more spacious and I have not found the upholstry any harder to keep clean although other lighter parts need more work. Luckily the floor is black.

My other dislike is privacy glass, it makes the interior seem more gloomy especially on a cloudy day.

I have privacy glass in the back as well as shades on the rear screen and back windows. Helps keep the sun off the leather when parked at home.

My old E has sand/ beige, I kind of like it but not really and is a hellish to keep clean, the floors are the same
