As above, it's not what any 'standard' warning sign looks like- it's just a squiggle

Im not surprised that you referred to it as a thing...because it looks completely unintelligible.
As Blobcat says, it looks like a fault with the display.

would be an odd failure.... to me looks more like a bit of software fun - maybe the dev engineer left his laptop at home and his kid added some extras...

Thanks for the replies. Do you think if I take it to a MB dealer they can disagonise because if it is a display failure, I have warranty RAC warranty (from dealer i bought car from) until mid march and this might be covered under that. Thanks.
